Refund Policy

Xplorama sells digital download products. Due to the instant and irrevocable nature of digital delivery, all sales are final. We cannot offer refunds on digital products that have been delivered or made available for download.

1. No Refunds on Digital Downloads

Because digital files are delivered immediately upon purchase and cannot be “returned,” we do not offer refunds as a standard policy. This is consistent with standard practice for digital goods retailers and is permitted under Canadian consumer protection guidelines for digital products.

We strongly encourage you to review all product descriptions, previews, and compatibility information before completing your purchase.

2. Exceptions We Will Honour

We recognize that technical issues can occur. We will review and resolve issues on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • File corruption — the delivered file is corrupted, damaged, or cannot be opened after reasonable attempts using appropriate software
  • Wrong file delivered — you received a file that does not match the product you purchased
  • Duplicate charge — your payment method was charged more than once for the same order
  • Technical failure preventing download — a confirmed technical failure on our end that prevented your download link from working and could not be resolved by re-sending

3. How to Request an Exception

To request a refund exception, email us at noreply@xplorama.ca with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address used for the order
  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Screenshots or evidence of the problem where applicable

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of your original purchase date.

4. Response Time

We will review your request and respond within 48 hours of receiving your email (excluding weekends and Canadian public holidays).

5. Resolution Options

If your exception request is approved, we will offer one of the following resolutions at our discretion:

  • Re-delivery — we will resend your download link or deliver a replacement file
  • Store credit — a credit applied to your Xplorama account for use on a future purchase

Cash refunds are issued only in cases of duplicate billing charges or where re-delivery is not technically possible.

6. What We Cannot Resolve

We are unable to process exception requests in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Incompatibility with your personal equipment (please verify specifications before purchasing)
  • Requests submitted more than 7 days after purchase
  • Misuse of files in violation of our License Agreement

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the laws of Canada. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
